Description : This mini-course, offered by AIU, delves into the critical realm of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) within educational settings. Recognizing the importance of emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and student well-being, this course aims to equip educators with the tools and strategies needed to effectively integrate SEL into the curriculum. Throughout the course, participants will explore the theoretical foundations of SEL and its significance in fostering positive student outcomes. They will learn practical approaches for cultivating emotional intelligence among students, nurturing healthy relationships, and fostering a supportive learning environment. The course will also address the role of educators in modeling SEL competencies and creating opportunities for student growth. Participants will engage in interactive activities, case studies, and discussions to deepen their understanding of SEL principles and their application in real-world educational contexts. By the end of the course, educators will be empowered to implement SEL initiatives that promote holistic student development, resilience, and success both inside and outside the classroom.
