Description : This minicourse offered by AIU explores the integration of renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and geothermal into architectural designs to create sustainable, energy-efficient buildings and urban environments. Students will learn the principles of green building, energy efficiency strategies, and the use of smart technologies and eco-friendly materials. The course covers the application of photovoltaic panels, wind turbines, and geothermal systems, and provides insights into green building certifications and best practices. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to design and implement renewable energy solutions in construction projects, promoting sustainability and reducing environmental impact.
