Director's letter

Hello and Welcome to Andragogy International Universe.

As the Director I will like to thank you for your interest in our Virtual School. You are more than welcome to continue reading and gathering all the information you may need in order to make the right choice for your educational needs.

 AIU-HS is unlike any other traditional school. In the traditional teaching methods, better known as the pedagogic model, teachers assume responsibility for making decisions about what will be learned, how it will be learned and when it will be learned. In other words, teachers direct all the learning. AIU-HS believes that this traditional method creates classrooms filled with information junkies. As an information junkie, your brain is filled with more information than what you can process in a single day and half the time it is information that you don’t need or that you already know. This is not only a waste of time for some students who find that they have not learned anything by the end of the day, but also creates individuals who must depend on others in order to obtain the information they are more than capable of obtaining themselves.

At AIU-HS, we give you the tools you will need to learn how to obtain information by your own means. That initiative, self assurance and go getter attitude is what will help you succeed in your academic education and excel in the corporate world. We gear all our courses towards the empowerment of our students. We encourage the development of individuals with self initiative and control. That is, a classroom filled with information creators.

AIU-HS is not for everyone. My students should have the determination to succeed and a true desire to take charge of their own education. I challenge all my future leaders to accompany other bright professionals in their quest for a higher education. Perseverance is the key for success and my entire staff is here to guide you and to help you persevere.
